Canada Drone Operations joins the Drone Logistics Ecosystem (DLE)
OTTAWA, ONTARIO – CANADA DRONE OPERATIONS, a Canadian drone delivery startup, has joined the Drone Logistics Ecosystem (DLE) (CDO). AirGo’s standardised drone cargo logistic solution, dubbed DroneBoxTM, has piqued the company’s attention for integration on its operational drones. Canada Drone Operations is a corporation that develops drone use cases.
CDO offers the answer to a client’s question about whether a drone can perform a given task. The CDO team is in charge of developing the concept of operations, manufacturing hardware solutions, and testing these solutions. The CDO team is currently working with golf courses to establish a drone delivery system for on-the-go players.
“We see drone delivery bridging the gap between customers and businesses,” stated founders Mohammad AbuShaaban and Zainab Badawi. We anticipate that all types of UAVs will play an important part in logistics management, service automation, and the reduction of typical bottomline costs that enterprises may incur when integrating a delivery service into their existing infrastructure.
CDO is looking into a variety of usecases where an automated drone service could replace a current framework, as well as providing enhanced efficiency models for consumers to incentivize the adoption of this unmanned technology. This vision for CDO cannot be realised without overcoming obstacles. As a result, we believe that joining DLE is critical in order to begin networking with the many likeminded businesses in this ecosystem. DLE connects us to a network of organisations with similar goals, all aiming to bring automated aerial logistics to the global market. We want to reap the benefits of this ecosystem while also contributing to it.
The demand for regulation and standardisation is without a doubt the first step in bringing relatively new technology into the mainstream market. This is exactly what AirGo offers. AirGo’s standardised DroneBoxTM will assist current UAV operators in reducing the risks associated with varying payload sizes and weights.
CDO operators will be able to regulate the anticipated motion of the centre of gravity of each of our drones using the DroneBoxTM, as well as develop cargo management solutions that no other company has yet to offer.”
